Free Adpiler Alternative — preview, QA & back up ad campaigns

Adpiler is a good niche ad-ops product from $49/mo ($39/mo billed annually), with new campaigns metered on every tier. If what you need is the core production workflow — show a client every size with HTML5 running live, validate the ZIPs against CM360 specs, and batch out compliant backup JPGs — three free DigiLakshya Studio-Tools do that job in your browser, with nothing uploaded.

An honest comparison — including where Adpiler is still the better buy. Prices verified June 2026.

The free workflow

Three tools that cover the ad-ops job

Adpiler bundles preview, sharing and backup generation into one subscription. We split the same job into three free, focused tools you chain together.

Ad Preview board

Drop a whole set — static PNG/JPG/GIF/WebP plus packaged HTML5 .zips — and every creative renders at its native size on one board, with HTML5 running live in sandboxed iframes. Per-card replay and remove, download originals, then share a free self-contained .html comp or a hosted link that auto-expires in 3 days on a free account, 30 on Pro.

QA HTML5 validator

Check each banner ZIP against Campaign Manager 360 specs — 11 checks plus 2 warnings covering clickTag setup, file weight, animation length, borders, missing assets, the ad.size meta tag, HTTPS and naming — next to a live, replayable preview.

Open the validator

Backup JPG Generator

Turn HTML5 banner ZIPs into static backup images — auto-sized per unit, captured from the ad's final resting frame and compressed toward CM360's 40 KB target. Batch a full campaign in one pass and download the set as a ZIP.

The honest part

Where Adpiler is still the better choice

In-context mockups. Adpiler renders your ads inside realistic website and social-feed environments. Our board shows creatives at native size on a clean proofing page — there are no fake publisher pages around them.
Deeper review workflow. Our hosted share pages now take pinned client comments, a resolve flow and one-click approval — but Adpiler still goes further: multi-stage approval routing and version history across revisions. For annotation-heavy internal QA we pair the board with Creative Review.
Permanent client galleries. Adpiler keeps organised, long-lived campaign folders per client. Our hosted share links deliberately auto-expire — after 3 days on a free account, 30 days on Pro (or never, if you choose) — and hosting draws on your plan’s storage.
One integrated workflow. Adpiler is a single subscription that does preview, share and backup in one place. Ours are three focused tools you chain together — free, but not one unified dashboard.

If those four things are must-haves for your team, Adpiler is worth its price — that's the honest answer. If your job is preview, validate and back up, start free below.

How it works

Do the Adpiler job free, in three steps

1

Preview the whole set

Drop your statics and HTML5 .zips on the Ad Preview board. Every size lays out at native dimensions with HTML5 running live — then share a free .html comp, or a hosted link, for sign-off.

2

Validate against CM360

Run each ZIP through the HTML5 validator: clickTag, weight, animation length, borders and more — 11 checks plus 2 warnings, with a live replayable preview, before trafficking finds the problems for you.

3

Generate the backups

Batch the same ZIPs through the Backup JPG Generator. It captures each unit's final resting frame and compresses toward CM360's 40 KB target — download the whole set as one ZIP.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Is this Adpiler alternative really free?
Yes — all three tools are free to use and none of them watermark your work; the Preview Generator needs a free account to load your own creatives (its sample board is open to everyone). The disclosed limits: the Ad Preview board and its local .html share are free, and hosted share links are free too — 5 new links a day, each live for 3 days — which Pro lifts to unlimited 30-day or never-expiring links; the HTML5 validator shows most checks free and unlocks the overall pass/fail verdict plus clickTag detail with a free login; the Backup JPG Generator previews everything in full but free downloads come out half-dimension until you log in. Pro is $25/mo or $199/yr across the whole suite — see tools pricing.
Do my ad files get uploaded anywhere?
Not for previewing, validating or generating backups — all of that runs in your browser and your creatives never leave your machine. There is exactly one exception, and it's opt-in: Ad Preview's "Create share link" uploads the creatives to DigiLakshya so we can host a URL for your client — free accounts get 5 of those a day, so it is not a Pro-only path. That hosted link auto-expires after 3 days on a free account and 30 days on Pro, and draws on your account's hosting storage. The free "Share file" export is a self-contained .html that never touches our server. Details on how we handle files.
Can clients review live HTML5 ads, like on Adpiler?
Yes. Drop packaged HTML5 ad .zips on the preview board and they run live in sandboxed iframes at their native dimensions, next to your static PNG/JPG/GIF/WebP sizes. Every card has replay and remove controls, and reviewers see the real animation — not a flat screenshot. You can hand the whole board over as a free self-contained .html file, or as a hosted link.
Does it show ads inside website or social-feed mockups like Adpiler?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Our board shows every creative at its true native size on one clean proofing page; Adpiler's strength is rendering your ads inside realistic publisher and social-feed environments. If in-context mockups are how your clients sign off, Adpiler is still the better fit — see the honest comparison section above.
Can it generate backup images like Adpiler's image generator?
Yes — that's exactly what the Backup JPG Generator does. It detects each HTML5 unit's dimensions, captures the ad's final resting frame (the CTA/logo hold) and compresses the JPG toward CM360's 40 KB target, with a compression summary per unit. Batch a whole campaign's ZIPs in one pass and download the set together. Under-40KB is a best-effort target, not a guarantee — we say that on the tool page too.
Do these tools use credits or tokens?
No — never. Every tool is free to use with sample or daily limits, and PRO is a flat $25/month ($199/year) for unlimited use of all 31+ tools: no credit packs, no top-ups, no per-use fees. Many comparable tools bill per credit (remove.bg, CloudConvert, AdCreative.ai) — here one flat subscription covers everything. See tools pricing.
