Free Campaign Name Generator

Build standardized, ad-server-safe campaign and creative names from your own convention. Pick the fields, their order, a separator and a case — then enter comma-separated values to generate every combination at once. Copy them or export a CSV.

Free to use in your browser with no signup — nothing is uploaded. The generator now lives inside our Name & Rename tool (its “Name campaigns” tab) — generate the names, then rename your files to match with one click.
Example output — Brand · Campaign · Size · Version

Why use it

One convention, every name.

Your convention, your rules

Toggle the fields you want — Advertiser, Brand, Campaign, Channel, Audience, Placement, Size, Geo, Date and Version — reorder them, then pick a separator and a case (as-is, lower, UPPER or Title).

Bulk combinations

Enter comma-separated values in any field — several sizes, placements or audiences — and it builds every combination for you, de-duplicated with a running count.

Ad-server-safe

Values are cleaned to letters, numbers and your separator only — spaces and punctuation stripped, stray separators trimmed — so names stay tidy for CM360, DV360 and Meta.

Presets to start from

One click loads a CM360, DV360, Meta / Social or Simple convention — the right fields, order, separator and case — then tweak it to fit your team.

How it works

Four steps, all in your browser.

1

Set the convention

Start from a preset or from scratch: enable the fields you need, reorder them, and choose your separator and case.

2

Enter values

Fill in each field. Use commas for multiple values — three sizes, two placements — to generate combinations. The Date field defaults to today.

3

Review the names

Every valid, de-duplicated name is generated live with a running count and a preview of the results.

4

Copy or export

Copy a single name or Copy all, or download a CSV with each field in its own column. Save your convention to reuse it next time.

Pricing

How that compares

Enforcing a naming convention normally means an enterprise taxonomy platform; renaming the files to match means a separate desktop app. This does both — and it’s the only one that rewrites the links inside a renamed HTML5 ad, so the ad still runs afterwards.

Compared July 2026 from each vendor’s own pricing page: Claravine enterprise quote only, Batchio Pro $4.99 one‑time (Mac only), A Better Finder Rename 12 $29.95 single‑user (Mac only), Advanced Renamer free for personal use / $45 + VAT commercial (Windows & Mac). UTM builders are a different job: CampaignTrackly (~$15/user/mo) and UTM.io (from $19/mo) generate tracking URLs and their parameters — useful, but they don’t produce the ad‑server‑safe campaign and creative names this builds, and they never touch your files. None are affiliated with DigiLakshya and none of them show third‑party ads. Desktop renamers work locally too — the difference here is the naming half and the in‑ZIP link rewriting, not privacy. Building names and copying them are always free; the 5‑a‑day cap applies to CSV and renamed‑ZIP exports. See all tools & pricing.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Is anything uploaded to a server?
No. The Campaign Name Generator runs 100% in your browser — your advertiser names, campaigns, audiences and every combination it builds stay on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere, so it's safe for unannounced launches and confidential client work.
What is a naming convention here, and can I control it?
A convention is which fields make up a name, in what order, joined by which separator and in which case. You choose all four: toggle fields on or off (Advertiser, Brand, Campaign, Channel, Audience, Placement, Size/Format, Geo/Language, Date and Version), reorder them with up/down arrows, pick a separator (_, -, . or none) and a case (as-is, lowercase, UPPERCASE or Title Case).
How do I generate lots of names at once?
Type comma-separated values into any enabled field — for example three sizes and two placements — and the tool builds every combination (the cartesian product) for you. It de-duplicates identical names, shows a running count and previews the first few hundred. Large runs are capped for safety at 2,000 generated names.
What makes the names "ad-server-safe"?
Every value is cleaned to letters, numbers and your chosen separator only — spaces and punctuation are stripped, and stray separators at the start or end are trimmed. That keeps names tidy and compatible with tools like CM360, DV360 and Meta. There are ready-made presets for CM360, DV360, Meta / Social and a Simple convention to start from.
Can I reuse my convention next time?
Yes. Click Save convention and your fields, order, separator and case are stored on this device, then loaded automatically the next time you open the tool. It's saved locally in your browser — not to any account or server.
Is it free?
Yes — free to use with no signup. Building names, previewing every combination and copying them (single or Copy all) are always free and unlimited. Only the CSV export uses a free daily limit of 5 exports per day; a Premium account makes CSV downloads unlimited. Need something else? Try Bulk Rename or the Color Picker.
What would a paid alternative cost?
Campaign-taxonomy platforms are the closest paid equivalent: Uplifter is £30/user/month (about $38) and Claravine is enterprise quote-only with no public price. UTM builders are a different job — CampaignTrackly (~$15/user/month) and UTM.io (from $19/month) generate tracking URLs and their parameters, not the ad-server-safe campaign and creative names this builds, and they never touch your files. Here, building names and copying them are free and unlimited, free accounts get 5 CSV exports a day, and $25/month (under $1 per tool) lifts the cap across all 30+ tools. Prices verified July 2026 — see the comparison above or all tools & pricing.
Do these tools use credits or tokens?
No — never. Every tool is free to use with sample or daily limits, and PRO is a flat $25/month ($199/year) for unlimited use of all 30+ tools: no credit packs, no top-ups, no per-use fees. Many comparable tools bill per credit (remove.bg, CloudConvert, AdCreative.ai) — here one flat subscription covers everything. See tools pricing.
