What is a backup image / backup JPG?

It's the static fallback an ad server shows when the HTML5 version can't run. Campaign Manager 360 requires every HTML5 unit to ship with a correctly-sized, weight-compliant backup image — usually under 40KB.

Is this tool free?

Yes — free to use with no signup, and you can preview every backup in full; the built-in sample downloads without an account. Downloading your own backups needs a free account (no card) — every backup JPG comes out full-dimension and CM360-correct, one at a time, with no daily limit. PRO adds Download all as one ZIP.

Do my files upload anywhere?

No. It captures the ad's final resting frame (the CTA/logo hold) and compresses the JPG entirely in your browser — your creative is never uploaded to make the backup. The one exception is a PRO download: the finished JPG (or the Download all ZIP) makes one round trip through our server so we can check the plan, then streams straight back to you — it is not stored.

How does it keep the file under 40KB?

It captures the ad's final resting frame (the CTA/logo hold) and optimises the JPG compression to target CM360's weight limit, showing you a compression summary for each unit — under 40KB is a best-effort target, not a guarantee, and a heavier result can occasionally render. Full-dimension output is what makes the backup CM360-correct, and every download is full-dimension — on a free account and on PRO alike.
