Free Ad Content Checker for Static Creatives
Drop a JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF and get measured, automated QA in seconds: on-device OCR reads the copy, then the checks flag tiny type, low-contrast text, overlapping or misaligned copy, crowded lines, clipped text, placeholder copy, doubled words and stale years — every finding boxed on an annotated preview.
Measured findings, not opinions.
Legibility, measured
Text under ~9px flagged from real OCR geometry, WCAG contrast estimated per line against the actual pixels behind it, and copy hugging the edge caught before a placement crops it.
Layout & spacing slips
Overlapping copy, lines crowded to within a few px of each other, copy sitting 3–10px off a shared left edge, and text cut off flush at the image boundary — tuned to flag accidents, not design choices.
Copy slips
Lorem ipsum / TBD / FPO placeholders, doubled words (“the the”), years that have already passed, and a missing call-to-action — plus the full copy extracted into one list for a fast human proofread.
Image quality
A blur estimate from edge detail (soft or over-compressed exports get flagged), resolution sanity, file weight, and a blank-image catch for exports that silently failed.
Three steps, all on your device.
Drop a static creative
JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF. Nothing is uploaded — the file is read straight into your browser's memory. Or hit Try a sample to see a banner with planted mistakes get caught.
OCR reads the copy
Up to four passes — standard and sparse-text, each in normal and inverted polarity — plus direct reads of detected buttons and badges, so reverse type and button labels are caught on any background. Then every candidate line is re-read in isolation: texture misreads fail the re-read and are dropped; real copy lands with its position, size and a confidence figure.
Review boxed findings
Issues, warnings and passes grouped by area, each traceable to a coloured box on the annotated preview — download it as a PNG and send it straight to the designer. No score, on purpose: judgment stays yours.
Where it stands against proofreading platforms.
The closest paid equivalents are enterprise artwork-proofreading platforms built for regulated packaging. They do things we don't — and we do the instant, private 80% they'd be overkill for.

Compared 22 July 2026 from each vendor’s own site. GlobalVision (globalvision.co) publishes no pricing — their site offers a demo and sales contact only; third-party listings have historically quoted $395–$795 per licence, which we could not verify on their site so it is not shown as their price. Artwork Flow (artworkflowhq.com/pricing): Free $0 per user, Professional $30 per user/month, Enterprise custom — their page states “Starts at $8000 per year, based on artwork volume”. A grey “—” means the vendor’s public pages did not state it and we won’t guess. The category is a partial match on purpose: both are artwork-proofreading / label-management platforms aimed at regulated packaging, the closest paid equivalents to automated creative QA — there is no mainstream dedicated paid tool for automated ad-creative content QA, which is rather the point of this one being free. Our $25/mo is the flat PRO price across all 25 Studio-Tools, not a price for this tool alone.
Automated checks are one layer — here are the others.
Packaged HTML5 ads get 23 trafficking checks in the HTML5 Ad Validator, HTML emails get 17 pre-flight checks in EDM QA, social crops get safe-area overlays in Social Ad QA — and when it's time for human feedback, mark creatives up with pins and notes in Creative QA.
