A Free To-Do Planner That Stays Private

One calm list for work and life. Type “Send QA sheet tomorrow !high 30m” and the task lands planned, prioritised and time-boxed — then balance the day against work and personal hours. Everything is saved in this browser only: no account, no server, nothing uploaded.

100% private — your tasks never leave this browser (one-click Export gives you a JSON backup anytime). You'll find it as To-Dos inside DigiLakshya Studio-Tools, alongside 20+ other free in-browser tools.
Why use it

A daily planner with a sense of balance.

Plain-words quick-add

Type Call the bank tomorrow !high 15m #personal — priority (!high/!medium/!low), context (#work/#personal), today/tomorrow and estimates like 30m or 1h30m are read and filed automatically.

Five calm views

Today, Upcoming, All tasks, Later and Completed — each with live counts, plus search and a work/personal filter. Later keeps someday ideas safe without crowding today.

Capacity that pushes back

Today's estimates fill a daily budget — six focused work hours and two personal — with a gentle warning when you overplan, and a Suggested next card that picks your first move.

Slipped tasks roll over

Unfinished tasks from earlier days surface as slipped, and one click moves them all to today. Nothing silently disappears off the bottom of the list.

How it works

Three steps, all in your browser.

1

Capture in plain words

Open the planner and just type — Draft the media plan tomorrow !high 1h files a high-priority work task for tomorrow with an hour reserved. No forms, no setup, no account.

2

Shape the day

The Today view weighs your plan against work and personal capacity. Open any task's drawer for notes, a plan-for date, a deadline, priority and estimate — or let Suggested next choose where to start.

3

Finish — or roll it over

Tick tasks off into Completed for a quiet progress check. Whatever slips moves to today in one click, and Export backs the whole list up as a JSON file whenever you like.

Why ours

Private, calm, yours to keep.

Nothing leaves your browser

Tasks live in this browser's local storage on your device — no account, no server copy, no sync we could peek at. What you plan is nobody's business but yours.

Free, with no gates

No signup, no daily caps, no premium wall on this tool — every feature on this page is simply free. Open the link and start typing.

Portable, no lock-in

Export your entire list as a JSON file for a backup or a move to another machine, and import it back in seconds. Clearing the browser's site data clears tasks — so back up now and then.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Is the to-do planner really free?
Yes — entirely. There's no signup, no trial clock, no daily cap and no premium wall on this tool: quick-add, all five views, the capacity meter, roll-over, notes and JSON export/import are all free. It runs 100% in your browser as part of DigiLakshya Studio-Tools.
Where are my tasks stored? Are they private?
In this browser only. Tasks are saved to your browser's local storage on your device — nothing is uploaded, there's no account and no server copy, so nobody (including us) can read your list. Two honest consequences: the list lives in this browser (it won't follow you to another device by itself), and clearing this site's browsing data clears your tasks. Use Export for a one-click JSON backup and Import to restore it or move machines.
How does the natural-language quick-add work?
Type the task as you'd say it and drop tokens anywhere: !high / !medium / !low for priority, #work or #personal for context, today or tomorrow for the planned date, and a time estimate like 15m, 30m, 1h or 1h30m. So Send QA sheet tomorrow !high 30m #personal becomes a high-priority personal task planned for tomorrow with 30 minutes reserved — and the tokens are stripped from the title automatically.
How does the work/personal balance actually work?
Every task is either Work or Personal and can carry a time estimate. The Today view adds those estimates up against a built-in daily budget — six focused work hours and two personal hours — and shows both meters fill as you plan. Overplan and you get a gentle warning to move one task; a “Suggested next” card picks a sensible first task so you can just start.
What happens to tasks I don't finish?
They never silently disappear. Anything planned for an earlier day that's still open surfaces in Today flagged as slipped — “3 tasks slipped from earlier days” — with a one-click Move to today button that rolls the whole lot forward. Overdue work stays visible until you finish it, replan it, or consciously park it in Later.
Can it show my team's work too?
Optionally, yes. If you're signed in as part of a DigiLakshya Studio-Tools team, a Workspace jobs toggle (on by default for team members, off in one click — solo users never see it) lists today's Workspace projects assigned to you inside To-Dos. Those rows are read-only: clicking one opens the Workspace tool, where edits belong. Your personal tasks stay in this browser either way. Need full team project tracking — shared boards, assignments, client reports? That's our free Project Manager.
Do these tools use credits or tokens?
No — never. Every tool is free to use with sample or daily limits, and PRO is a flat $25/month ($199/year) for unlimited use of all 24+ tools: no credit packs, no top-ups, no per-use fees. Many comparable tools bill per credit (remove.bg, CloudConvert, AdCreative.ai) — here one flat subscription covers everything. See tools pricing.
