Free Video Ad Maker — one cut, every placement

Bring one set of clips and get a finished MP4 for every social placement. Each size gets its own crop and its own copy position, safe areas are checked against the platform you picked, and the whole thing renders in your browser. No coding, no signup.

Your footage never uploads — editing and rendering happen in your browser.
What it does

Everything to reframe one cut for every feed

Framing per size

Fill, Fit or blurred bars, plus nudge and scale — set separately for every output size, because a shot centred for a Reel rarely survives a 16:9 crop.

Copy that moves with it

Headline, logo, captions and any text, image, shape or button you add — each positioned per size, and each with its own entrance and exit.

Safe areas, checked

Pick Meta Reels, TikTok, Shorts, a YouTube bumper or LinkedIn and pre-flight tells you if your copy is sitting under the platform’s own UI — before you render.

Your footage stays put

Clips are never uploaded. The video is drawn to a canvas and recorded in your browser, so unreleased material stays on your machine.

How it works

From one cut to every placement in three steps

1

Pick the placement, drop your clips

Choosing Meta Reels, TikTok, Shorts, a bumper or LinkedIn sets the shapes, the duration limit and where that platform’s own UI will sit. Then drop in MP4, MOV or WebM and trim each clip.

2

Frame and write, per size

Switch between sizes and set the crop and copy position for each. Add text, images, shapes or buttons onto any clip with an entrance and exit, load captions from an .srt, and place your logo.

3

Pre-flight, then render

The checks run against the placement you picked — duration, aspect, safe areas, source resolution, sound-off legibility. Then render one MP4 per size, or a ZIP when you picked several. 9:16 and 1:1 are free.

Good to know

Honest about what it is — and what it is not.

A reframing tool, not an editor

Bring a finished cut and get every placement out of it. There is no colour grading, sound design or motion graphics here — that is a different job.

It renders in real time

A 20-second ad takes about 20 seconds per format and the tab must stay in front. We say so up front rather than let you wonder why it is not instant.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Is this video ad maker really free?
Yes — free to use with no signup, and there is no watermark on what you render. You edit and preview everything in full. Free renders cover the two shapes almost every brief starts from: 9:16 vertical (Reels, Stories, Shorts, TikTok) and 1:1 square (feed, LinkedIn). 4:5 portrait, 16:9 landscape and any custom pixel size are PRO.
Does my footage get uploaded anywhere?
No. Your clips never upload. Trimming, framing, captions, elements and the render itself all happen in your browser — the video is drawn to a canvas and recorded there, so the footage stays on your machine. Two optional PRO features do send data, and only when you choose them: Save build stores the project settings in your account (the settings, not the footage), and Share link uploads the finished MP4 so a client can watch it. Neither runs unless you press the button.
What does 'one cut, every placement' actually mean?
You bring one set of clips and set the message once. Each output size then gets its OWN framing — Fill, Fit or blurred bars, plus nudge and scale — and its own position for the headline, logo and any element you add. A shot centred for a 9:16 Reel usually needs a different crop to survive 16:9, and copy placed for a vertical frame lands in the wrong third of a landscape one. That per-size control is the whole point of the tool.
How long does a render take?
It records in real time. A 20-second ad takes roughly 20 seconds per format, and the tab has to stay in front while it runs, because browsers throttle background tabs. Pick several formats and you get a ZIP. We would rather tell you that up front than have you wonder why it is not instant.
What file do I get, and will ad platforms accept it?
MP4 (H.264 video, AAC audio) at the real delivery size — 1080x1920 for 9:16, 1080x1080 for 1:1 and so on. That is exactly what Meta, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn ask for. One caveat worth knowing: Chrome, Edge and Safari record MP4; Firefox falls back to WebM, which most ad platforms will not take — so render in one of the first three if you have the choice. The tool says so on screen too.
What are the safe areas, and are they burned into the file?
They are the zones where each platform draws its own interface — the caption, the username, the action rail. Pick your placement (Meta Reels, TikTok, Shorts, a YouTube bumper, LinkedIn) and the tool draws those zones on the preview and checks your copy and elements against them before you render. They are preview guides only and never burned into the file. Platform UI moves, so treat them as good working guides and check a current spec before a large buy.
Can I animate text and use my own fonts?
Yes. Add text, images, shapes or buttons onto a clip and give each an entrance and an exit — the same effect names as our Multiframe HTML5 builder, so if you know one you know the other. An element belongs to the clip it sits on: it appears when that clip starts and leaves when it ends, so there are no keyframes to manage. Upload a .woff2, .woff, .ttf or .otf and use it straight away — canvas draws the glyphs into the frame, so there is no bake step and no font file to ship.
Is this a replacement for a video editor?
No, and it is not trying to be. It is a fast reframing and versioning tool: bring a finished cut, get every placement out of it with the copy and crop right for each. For colour grading, sound design, motion graphics or a bespoke edit, the DigiLakshya team produces it for you.
Do these tools use credits or tokens?
No — never. Every tool is free to use with sample or daily limits, and PRO is a flat $25/month ($199/year) for unlimited use of all 25+ tools: no credit packs, no top-ups, no per-use fees. Many comparable tools bill per credit (remove.bg, CloudConvert, AdCreative.ai) — here one flat subscription covers everything. See tools pricing.

Need the edit itself? We’ll produce it for you.

Reframing your own cut is one job; making the cut is another. DigiLakshya produces campaign-grade video ads — editing, motion graphics and every placement — as a white-label studio for agencies.
