Can I preview a live website by its address?

Not by address — Website Preview shows the site you build: drop its ZIP (index.html with its css, js and images), a single .html file, or paste the HTML. Live sites usually refuse to be framed by another page, so a preview of a URL would be a blank box or a screenshot; this shows the real page, running.

What sizes does it show?

Desktop at 1440 × 900, Tablet at 820 × 1180 and Phone at 390 × 844 — the real widths, so the site's own responsive layout and menus switch exactly as they will. Tablet and phone rotate. The frame scales to fit your screen without changing the page's width.

What about a site with several pages?

Every .html page in the ZIP comes in (index first, up to 20 pages). A page list switches between them in the tool, and the share link carries the same list.

Do the site's scripts run?

Yes — menus, sliders and animations play. The page runs in a sandbox that cannot reach Studio Tools, your account or its cookies. Links between pages do not navigate inside the preview; the page list does.

What does the client see?

The website itself, full window, with Desktop · Tablet · Phone at the top and the page list. Comment on this page opens the review board on that device, where they pin comments on the page — each comment remembers which device it was written on.

Is anything uploaded?

Not while you preview — the pages are packed on your device. Only when you create a share link are they uploaded, because the client has to open them. Links need a free account: 1 a day and 5 a month free.

Can the link carry my agency's name instead of yours?

Yes. With the Agency pack ($30 a month — unlimited hosted links and +50 GB storage included) website preview links go out on preview.your-agency.com, with your logo and no mention of us — plus a subdomain for each client. See how it works.

Do these tools use credits or tokens?

No — never. Use and preview every tool with no account. A free account downloads any single result at full size, with no daily limit. A few things keep a small free allowance: QA checks (2 a day with no account, 5 with a free one) and hosted share links (5 a month, 1 a day, live 3 days).
