Everything that isn't an image. Video, audio, documents, spreadsheets, ebooks, archives — CloudConvert's 200+ formats are the product. We convert JPG/PNG/WebP/GIF and turn HTML5 zips into GIFs. That's it, on purpose.
Niche image formats. HEIC, AVIF, TIFF and the long tail aren't covered by our converter. If your inputs come from odd places, CloudConvert swallows them.
APIs and automation. CloudConvert's API, webhooks and integrations run conversion jobs unattended. Ours are hands-on browser tools with no API.

Do my files get uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion happens locally in your browser — images are re-encoded on your machine, and HTML5 banner ZIPs are unpacked, rendered and recorded locally too. Your files never leave your device. Which formats do you actually cover?
Images in and out: JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF — drop in any mix (or a .zip) and convert the whole batch to one format at full quality and original dimensions, with no compressing or resizing.
